Unfortunately, I've only completed Roswell. 

I cut my hair.  It's way cuter in person - my hair does not take good pictures, and my face just isn't cutting it today. 

Yeah, it's fairly drastic.  I just didn't go short enough last time, and I was in need of a trim anyway.  Some trim, huh?

Ok, so obviously, I wasn't around for when this picture was taken (May 1955).  But this is the old Club Alliance for the enlisted (Sailors who aren't officers) men on Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan.  This wasn't even on base - now, it's located right at the beginning of the main gate.  Now, as soon as you enter the main gate, you can enter the building to your left (at least, I think this is Club Alliance.  It's been 5 years since I was in Japan, and I'm terrible with names, though, haha).  But in this picture, it was located where now, a huge hotel stands there now (Barbara, Tina, Venika, if you're reading this, it was where the New Yokosuka Hotel (? I think!  Across the street from Daiei!).  So a little bit of history, since really, in reference to the subject line, it really isn't there any more!

But yeah, I was in Japan.  Not there any more.  I wish I could be, but it'll be a few years yet before that happens.  There's no place like home.

And you know.  After all this time... I just realized the significance of that name.  Hmm.

I took a picture today of all that goes into my book bag for school, for that silly vox hunt of what goes in your bag... and actually, I usually carry my text book in my arms.  I have other little lab manuals that go in there too.  It is such a pain in the neck, literally, to have to carry so much crap to school!

My school bag (my work bag, which is a different back pack, look similar, plus various odds and ends I've collected from work, and minus books).  Text book, binder with writing utensils, spiral notebook, etc, planner, mini spiral notebook, planner, post-it note keeper, wallet, cellphone, lotion, anti-bacterial gel, iPod, gum, mirror, lip gloss, tissues, and chapstick.

What goes into my purse.  My purse is relatively small (with reason, I tend to horde...).  Lotion, cellphone, anti-bacterial gell, wallet, pile of reciepts, lip glosses, tissue, hair clip, mirror, gum, chapstick, iPod and cellphone.
