THE NEW IPOD TOUCH. Oh my God. I am SO glad I haven't upgraded to anything in over 2 years because I think this is what I've been waiting for. But I just spend 3k and owe our savings 2/3 of that - it will be a long time and a cold day in hell when I end up getting my new iPod. But it will the the Touch. It will be mine, oh yes.
Wifi with a built-in browser? That's enough to to give me squeels - my work has free Wifi!!! BUAHAHA. I'm seriously having a moment right now...
Not one person in this house is asleep yet, because it's 10:30 at night and 80 degrees F downstairs (so it's probably about 82 or 83 upstairs). Hate to sound like a brat... but I feel like a fish out of water! Not only have I NEVER lived without AC, San Diego is having a serious heat wave this summer, which happens to be the summer we hadddd to move into a house (albeit temporary, more so for Chris and I than my parents) WITH NO AC.
I'm feeling like crap on all different levels (though my cold is going away nicely...), and it's way too hot to sleep - but I have to get up early in the morning to get to work. At least my job has cooling though, and most of the nurses are menopausal who have heat flashes constantly.
(BTW, I'm so not joking. Mark Hamill graduated from my high school. You know how I do.)
Haven't done one of these in a while...

Would you go on vacation by yourself, and if so where would you go?

Probably not. I prefer being around people, even if it's just one other. I would prefer to go on a trip with Chris, a girl friend, or my parents.
Why do you live where you live?

We moved here 5 years ago, because my dad got orders here and instead of him commuting 70 miles one way like before we moved to Japan, my parents decided to buy a home in this area.
We moved to a different part of town since then - my parents are waiting for their condo to be finished, and I'm waiting for my husband to come home.
I like it here, but I don't.
Cooking Mama is AWESOME.
